Determining the prettiest college campus in Arizona often sparks passionate debate, but Northern Arizona University, located in Flagstaff, frequently earns this prestigious title due to its stunning natural setting. Situated among the world's largest contiguous ponderosa pine forest at an elevation of nearly seven thousand feet, the NAU campus features majestic mountain views, historic red-brick architecture, beautiful seasonal changes including winter snowfalls, and picturesque outdoor spaces. While Arizona State University and the University of Arizona offer vibrant campus aesthetics, NAU's alpine environment provides a uniquely scenic atmosphere.
