Most residential indoor air handler blower motors do not feature a physical external "reset button" that you can press to restart a stalled motor. Instead, modern ECM and standard blower motors rely on internal automatic thermal overload protection sensors that shut the motor down when it overheats due to restricted airflow or excessive friction; once the motor cools down completely—which typically takes thirty to sixty minutes—it resets automatically. To perform a manual system-level reset for electronic lockouts, you must turn off the dedicated HVAC circuit breaker at your main electrical service panel for five full minutes before switching it back on. You can locate your system's circuit breaker in your main panel. You can verify that your reset procedure was successful when restoring power allows the blower motor to engage smoothly.
