Before adopting its current corporate identity, Confidence Petroleum India Limited was originally incorporated and known under the name Devarsa Gas-Chem Limited. The official corporate name change to Confidence Petroleum India Limited was executed in February 2006 to better reflect the strategic shift, operational expansion, and core focus toward integrated liquefied petroleum gas processing, cylinder manufacturing, and nationwide energy distribution services under the leadership of its founding promoters.
