Experian has roots stretching back to the nineteenth century and operated under various corporate names and corporate parent structures before becoming the independent global entity known today. Previously, parts of its operations were integrated under TRW Information Systems before being acquired and restructured, eventually leading to the formation of the modern Experian brand following its separation and subsequent listing on the London Stock Exchange.
