The Phoenix Suns share intense, heated divisional and historical rivalries with several prominent Western Conference franchises, most notably the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks. Playoff matchups, physical on-court altercations, and decades of high-stakes postseason drama have fueled fierce animosity between the fan bases, making games against these specific opponents some of the most anticipated, high-energy spectacles on the entire league calendar each season.
