The most visited spot on Earth depends on how you count visitors, but generally the most visited tourist attraction in the world is Times Square in New York City, USA, which attracts an estimated 50 to 60 million visitors annually, or the Las Vegas Strip which attracts over 40 million. For paid attractions, the most visited is the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, with over 17 million visitors yearly. For natural spots, the most visited is Niagara Falls on the US-Canada border with over 30 million visitors. For religious spots, Mecca in Saudi Arabia attracts over 13 million pilgrims yearly during Hajj and Umrah. However, if counting overall foot traffic, Times Square is often cited as most visited spot on Earth because it is a public intersection in Manhattan that millions walk through daily, with estimates of 300,000 to 400,000 pedestrians per day. Other contenders include the Eiffel Tower area, the Great Wall of China with over 10 million, and the Forbidden City. In terms of most visited city, Bangkok, Paris, and London compete for most international tourists with over 20 million each. But for single specific spot, Times Square is most frequently cited as most visited spot on Earth due to its location in most visited city and free public access. If counting only ticketed landmarks, the most visited landmark is the Eiffel Tower or Magic Kingdom.
