Unlike a universal master code, Honeywell VisionPro thermostats use a dynamic security password based on the device's manufacturing date code (printed on a sticker on the back of the display faceplate) to lock and unlock Installer Setup options. To find it, remove the thermostat from the wallplate, locate the 4-digit date code (representing the year and month of manufacture, such as a specific four-digit sequence), and enter those numbers when prompted by the installer options screen to gain access to advanced equipment settings.
