Landmark Credit Union was originally established in February 1933 as the Rex #2 Credit Union by employees of the Rex Chainbelt Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Over subsequent decades, the institution expanded its field of membership beyond manufacturing workers, underwent strategic name changes to reflect its broader community reach, and completed several successful credit union mergers to evolve into one of the largest financial cooperatives in Wisconsin.
