The history of Central Arkansas basketball spans distinct eras across different governing athletic classifications. Prior to joining the NCAA Division I ranks, the program competed successfully in the NAIA and NCAA Division II, capturing historic conference titles and making multiple national tournament appearances. Since making the multi-year transition to Division I and joining conferences like the Southland and the ASUN, the program has worked tirelessly to build competitive consistency, achieving historic regular-season titles and setting new program win records.
