Home game attendance figures for the Rice Owls football program playing at Rice Stadium fluctuate each season based on opponent caliber, weather conditions, and team performance. Because Rice operates as a smaller private institution with an intimate undergraduate student body, average home crowds typically range from fifteen thousand to twenty-five thousand spectators, creating a dedicated community atmosphere that reflects passionate alumni support and local Houston sports engagement.
