In the Android operating system ecosystem—most notably popularized by OnePlus and Realme devices running custom user interfaces—'Shelf' is a dedicated widget-based screen or side panel that users can swipe down or over to access quickly. It provides a centralized dashboard for customizable widgets, weather updates, step counters, quick device settings, sticky notes, and membership cards, allowing users to view essential information and shortcuts instantly without opening separate individual apps.
