What Bryant is known for depends on which Bryant you are referring to, as there are multiple prominent Bryants. Bryant heating and cooling, owned by Carrier Global Corporation since 1955, is known for manufacturing reliable mid-range HVAC equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and air handlers that offer good value with Carrier technology, positioned between Carrier's premium brand and Payne's budget brand, and sold through authorized dealers across North America. Bryant University, the private university in Smithfield, Rhode Island, is known for its strong undergraduate business programs, particularly finance, accounting, and international business, with high job placement rates and a focus on practical business education. The surname Bryant is most famously known for Kobe Bryant, the legendary NBA player who played 20 seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, five-time NBA champion, 18-time All-Star, and one of the greatest basketball players of all time, known for his Mamba Mentality, scoring 81 points in a game, and his daughter Gianna Bryant who was also a promising young basketball player. Bryant Electric, now part of Hubbell, is known for historic electrical wiring devices. So Bryant is known for HVAC equipment as a Carrier brand, for business education as a university, and most famously for Kobe Bryant's legacy in basketball and sports culture.
