Only Square D Homeline circuit breakers are officially approved, tested, and UL-listed to fit into a Square D Homeline electrical panel. Attempting to install non-approved alternatives—such as Square D QO breakers or other brand substitutes—violates electrical building codes, compromises the physical bus bar connection, creates severe arc-fault and fire risks, and instantly voids the manufacturer warranty. Always verify that replacement breakers carry the correct Homeline classification.
