Common technical issues affecting Google Nest thermostats center around low-voltage power starvation, where units lacking a dedicated C-wire struggle to trickle-charge their internal batteries through the HVAC furnace wires, resulting in offline errors or system cycling faults. Other common complaints involve dropped Wi-Fi connections after router updates, schedule learning erratic behavior, and thermostat display screen freezing. Verification: Review power status metrics in the app or device settings to ensure voltage levels remain stable above required operating thresholds.
