Weak or sluggish toilet flushing is typically caused by low water levels in the tank, a flapper that closes prematurely, or mineral scale buildup clogging the rim feed holes underneath the bowl rim. When mineral deposits (calcium and lime) harden inside the tiny rim jet holes, they restrict the flow of water needed to wash the bowl and trigger the siphon jet, resulting in a lazy, ineffective flush that leaves waste behind. Verification: Inspect and clean rim jet holes with a piece of wire and adjust the fill valve float.
