Consumer feedback and plumbing reviews regarding A.O. Smith tankless water heaters are generally very favorable, emphasizing their reliable delivery of endless hot water and high energy efficiency ratings. Users frequently highlight how compact the wall-mounted units are compared to bulky storage tanks, saving valuable utility room space while lowering monthly natural gas bills. On the other hand, some critical reviews note that tankless systems demand strict annual descaling flushes to prevent mineral scale lockouts in hard water areas, and professional installation costs can be high. Overall, homeowners appreciate the performance when proper maintenance routines are followed consistently.
