People are saying generally very positive things about Shaw Floors Pet Perfect carpet in reviews, which is a carpet line specifically designed for pet owners with stain resistance and durability. Pet Perfect is praised for excellent stain resistance with Shaw's Anso nylon and R2X stain protection that resists pet accidents, food spills, and dirt, making it easy to clean, with many pet owners reporting that pet urine and vomit stains come out with simple blotting and cleaning, unlike regular carpet. Reviewers also praise durability and softness, with carpet that feels soft underfoot but resists matting and crushing from pets and foot traffic, plus good color options that hide pet hair. Pet Perfect carpet is also praised for odor resistance with All Pet Protection that reduces pet odors in carpet backing. Common positive comments include good warranty including lifetime stain warranty and 10-year pet damage warranty, which is strong for carpet. Some complaints include higher cost than budget carpet at 2 to 4 dollars per square foot materials versus budget at 1 to 2 dollars, and that carpet still requires regular vacuuming and professional cleaning despite stain resistance. Compared to other pet-friendly carpets, Pet Perfect is considered top-rated for pet owners. Overall, reviews are positive with high satisfaction among pet owners.
