TAMKO shingles have not been discontinued entirely, but TAMKO has discontinued some older product lines and consolidated its offerings in recent years. TAMKO is still in business and actively manufactures Heritage series architectural shingles, which is its flagship, as well as Heritage Premium, Heritage Woodgate, and other lines. However, TAMKO did discontinue its TAMKO MetalWorks metal shingles and some older three-tab and specialty lines as part of focusing on its core Heritage architectural shingles and commercial roofing products. In 2023 to 2024, TAMKO streamlined distribution and exited some markets, leading to rumors of discontinuation, but TAMKO continues to produce shingles at its Joplin, Missouri plant and other facilities. TAMKO also shifted focus toward its Pro Certified contractor program and system components. Some specific colors or older lines like TAMKO Vintage and TAMKO Elite Glass-Seal three-tab have been discontinued and replaced by newer Heritage blends. So while certain TAMKO shingle models have been discontinued over time, which is normal for all manufacturers, the brand itself and its main Heritage architectural shingles are still available through roofing supply houses and certified contractors. For accurate availability, check with local roofing distributors or TAMKO website for current product lines in your region.
