Determining whether live college football games are currently broadcasting on television depends entirely on the seasonal timing of the athletic calendar. Because the sports calendar sits firmly in the middle of August, the official regular-season and postseason schedules have not yet commenced, meaning live competitive games are not airing on television today. Fans eager to watch football can instead tune into preseason training camp coverage, analytical preview shows, or archived classic matchups until Week Zero and Week One games officially launch the new autumn season.
