In terms of per capita GDP (Gross Domestic Product) on a purchasing power parity and nominal basis, Kuwait is significantly richer than India. Kuwait is a high-income economy driven by massive petroleum reserves and a small population base, resulting in a very high average individual income. Conversely, India possesses a much larger aggregate national economy, but its massive population yields a much lower per capita income average.
