Spending 30,000 dollars on a roof replacement can be either entirely reasonable or severely overpriced depending entirely on the square footage, architectural complexity, and premium materials involved. For a massive estate home, a complex multi-angle roof, or one finished with high-end natural slate, heavy concrete tiles, or premium standing-seam copper, 30,000 dollars or more is standard. However, for a typical mid-sized suburban home getting standard architectural asphalt shingles, that price is extremely high.
