Moving an on-screen virtual keypad, keyboard, or numeric dialer across your digital display varies depending on the device and application you are using. On mobile smartphones running iOS or Android, standard virtual keyboards are anchored to the bottom edge of the screen by default and generally cannot be freely dragged around, though tablet versions often allow you to split, float, or undock the keyboard into a movable window by long-pressing the keyboard settings icon. On Windows computers, if you are using the Touch Keyboard or On-Screen Keyboard utility, you can simply click and drag the top title bar or grab handle of the floating keyboard window to position it anywhere.
