To get hotter water out of your shower, you must adjust the rotational limit stop (anti-scald device) located beneath the handle trim. Turn off the water, remove the handle set-screw, pull off the handle, and locate the plastic anti-scald ring. Pull the ring out slightly and rotate it to allow the handle to turn further toward the hot position before reassembling. Callout type="warning" title="Hygiene Warning": Exercise caution when increasing maximum water temperature to avoid accidental scalding hazards. Verification: Test the shower temperature to confirm it reaches a comfortably hotter level.
