How much a Lennox AC unit costs from Costco is typically 4,500 to 9,000 dollars installed for 3-ton unit, which is similar to buying from regular Lennox dealer but includes Costco Shop Card rebate of 10 to 15 percent. Costco does not sell Lennox AC units directly in warehouse like appliances, but partners with local Lennox dealers through Costco HVAC Program where you buy through Costco website and Costco dispatches authorized Lennox dealer for installation. Pricing: Lennox ML14XC1 14 SEER single stage 3-ton costs 4,500 to 6,000 dollars installed through Costco, EL16XC1 17 SEER two-stage costs 5,500 to 7,500 dollars installed, XC20 20 SEER variable speed costs 7,000 to 9,500 dollars installed, including outdoor condenser, indoor evaporator coil, labor, permit, and removal of old unit, plus you receive Costco Shop Card worth 10 percent of purchase price, for example 500 dollars on 5,000 dollar system, and Executive members receive 2 percent additional. Costco prices are competitive but not always cheapest, as independent Lennox dealer may offer 3,500 to 5,500 dollars for same ML14XC1 without rebate, so net cost similar. Costco program includes extended warranty and satisfaction guarantee. Additional costs include new furnace if replacing as package at 8,000 to 14,000 dollars total. Always compare 3 quotes including Costco and local dealers for best price.
