Conference USA features a stable configuration of ten full-time member institutions following strategic expansion and stabilization efforts. Despite major waves of historical conference realignment that saw several programs depart for other Football Bowl Subdivision leagues, CUSA successfully integrated new competitive universities to maintain its standard operating membership size for intercollegiate athletic schedules.
