Clearing customs and immigration controls at Zurich Airport depends heavily on your citizenship and whether you are entering from a Schengen or non-Schengen destination. For passengers holding biometric passports from Switzerland, the European Union, or select partner nations utilizing automated electronic e-gates, the entire border clearance process takes under a minute. Standard manual immigration queues for other international arrivals typically require anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes depending on flight arrival banks.
