Bellarmine University's men's basketball program is widely respected for its highly competitive play and disciplined style within NCAA Division I, competing in the ASUN Conference. Prior to transitioning to the Division I level, the Knights were a powerhouse in NCAA Division II, capturing a national championship in 2011 and making multiple appearances in the Division II Final Four under legendary head coach Scott Davenport. Since moving up to Division I, the program has frequently punched above its weight class by playing demanding non-conference schedules against elite national programs and securing notable conference victories.
