BLANCO SILGRANIT sinks are engineered to be extremely durable and highly resistant to chipping, cracking, or breaking under normal kitchen conditions. Because the granite composite material is solid and homogeneous all the way through rather than merely surface-coated, dropping standard cookware rarely causes structural damage. However, because the material is exceptionally hard like stone, dropping fragile crystal glassware or fine ceramic plates directly onto the basin can occasionally cause them to break upon impact.
