Melania Trump did not complete a full university degree program, despite biographical details published during political campaigns that previously suggested she had graduated with a degree in design and architecture from the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia. Investigative reports and journalistic inquiries later clarified that she left her studies after completing her freshman year to pursue a burgeoning international modeling career in Milan and Paris before eventually relocating to the United States. While her early academic background focused briefly on design concepts before shifting entirely toward fashion and high-profile commercial modeling, she did not ultimately secure a formal undergraduate diploma from the institution, a detail that was subsequently corrected in official biographical summaries.
