Groupe Bruxelles Lambert successfully completed a major strategic investment acquiring a 45% co-controlling stake in Rayner, a leading international ophthalmic medtech specialist and manufacturer of intraocular lenses. GBL invested 500 million Euros of equity alongside incumbent shareholders CVC and Rayner's management team. This transaction aligns with GBL's mid-term strategic initiative to expand its exposure to direct private assets and growing healthcare markets.
