General public visitors are no longer permitted to access the historic trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange for casual tours, as floor access is strictly restricted to member organizations, listed company representatives, designated traders, and invited media guests. While the iconic building exterior and surrounding Financial District streets in lower Manhattan remain open to sightseers, interior access to the trading floor requires special corporate permissions or official event invitations.
