Pressure washing can easily damage concrete if excessive water pressure is applied too close to the surface, if narrow zero-degree spray nozzles are used, or if the concrete slab is less than twenty-eight days old and hasn't fully cured. High-pressure streams can etch, pit, erode the smooth surface cream, and fracture concrete. Using a moderate PSI setting, keeping the spray wand moving consistently, and attaching a surface cleaner prevents this structural damage.
