By default, standard Wyze cameras do not record continuously; instead, they record short 12-second event clips triggered by motion or sound detection and save them to the cloud. However, if you insert a compatible microSD card into the camera, you can configure the settings within the Wyze app to enable Continuous Recording, allowing the device to loop-record 24/7 directly onto the local memory card independent of cloud storage.
